I have been an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and International Business of Sam Houston State University since Fall 2015. I received my B.A. in economics in 2007 from South China Normal University, and my Ph.D. in economics from Kansas State University in summer 2012. Prior to joining Sam Houston State University, I have taught at Colgate University as a visiting assistant professor of economics between 2012 and 2015. My fields of specialization include International Trade, Economics of Peace and Conflict, Chinese economy, and Industrial Organization.
